Lac La Biche hockey camp begins next week
Lac La Biche area hockey players can get a unique opportunity next week.
Bellz Edge Elite Hockey Camp is coming to the Bold Center for three days, July 26-28, to teach kids new skills.
Local Andrea Ulliac is bringing in the Bellz Edge team from Oklahoma. She said after doing some travelling in year’s past for similar hockey camps, she decided to bring one to the Lakeland area.
“I think that registering in a hockey camp gives the kid some enlightenment and gives them an opportunity to learn new skills for the upcoming year,’ said Ulliac.
“I just found that it was a beautiful opportunity for my son, he learned so much. He had a great time with fellow hockey players and they were from all over Alberta.”
The camp is geared toward 2005 to 2017 born hockey players from U7 to U17, said Ulliac.
When signing up, you can expect two on-ice sessions per day, as well as dryland training, and one-on-one personal fitness instruction.
The instructors at the camp include Ivan Bondarenko, WHL product Cade McNelly, and Gord Bell.
The cost is $250 per participant.
The deadline to register is Sunday and with a cap of 75 players, spots are filling up fast.
You can register by contacting Andrea at 780-307-5459 or via email at laclabichehockeycamp@hotmail.com
