Two charged after trying to sell stolen property online

Two people were busted with stolen property and possession of meth by Bonnyville RCMP last week.

Police released information that on July 11th a victim of a break and enter had seen their items posted online for sale. RCMP tracked down who was in possession of the property and got a search warrant.

During the search, RCMP found the property as well as unsafely stored firearms, police said.

Charges were laid against 20-year-old Sam Nunweiler and 18-year-old Jasmine Williams, both of Bonnyville. They face counts of Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possessing a Firearm Knowing Possession was Unauthorized, and Possession of Crystal Meth. 

Nunweiler was further charged with three counts of Failing to Comply with a Release Order Condition. 

He was remanded into custody while Williams was released without bail. Their first court appearance was Tuesday.
