Lakeland Schools Athletic Association bid adieu to five members of their group that have contributed greatly to school sports over the years.

Lori Hamel, Jason Kozlow, Marc Hamel, Denis Hodinsky and Wayne Mah were celebrated for their efforts over the years.

Current president Dustin Blake put together a tribute on the LSAA social media page, by remembering their contributions, which includes coaching, reffing, hosting events, bus driving, debating issues, or sharing knowledge at meetings.

“The number of athletes that you have had a positive impact on could never be measured in numbers, but we hope you know how much your time, actions, and knowledge has been valued and appreciated by your fellow reps and your athletes. Marc, Lori, Dennis, Wayne, and Jason, LSAA will be forever grateful to all of you for the things you have done for us and the Lakeland communities,” Blake’s post said.

LSAA is a body that acts on behalf of 32 schools across three wards in the area.
