Man wanted for local shooting arrested by Parkland RCMP

A man wanted for aggravated assault and discharging a firearm with intent after a shooting in Cold Lake First Nations was apprehended by police.

Chad William Pashko, 41 from Parkland County, was wanted by Cold Lake RCMP for the shooting of a Kehewin man on April 15.

Police said they sought an arrest warrant on June 7th for the crimes. On Wednesday, Parkland RCMP said that along with the Alberta RCMP Emergency Response Team, they arrested Pashko without incident at a residence in Lac St. Anne.

He is facing seven charges and may have additional ones coming, Parkland RCMP said in a media release.
