Man charged with second-degree murder after 21-year-old Lloydminster man killed

Police have charged a 21-year-old with second degree murder after a shooting last Thursday.

Bonnyville RCMP were called to Kehewin on June 2nd just before 3:00pm and when police arrived they found a dead male. Mounties called in the Alberta Major Crimes Unit to investigate.

The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Calub Finlay of Lloydminster. 

After investigation, police have charged 21-year-old Jermaine Jackson with second degree murder. 

RCMP said on Tuesday that Jackson has been arrested and was taken before a Justice where he was remanded into custody. His next court date is set for June 9, 2022 at St. Paul Provincial Court.
