Terry Traumasaurus debuts ahead of EMS Week

The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority family has one new member.

Terry Traumasaurus was unveiled at Station 5 in Bonnyville on Tuesday afternoon becoming the mascot for the EMS division. Terry joins Cellphone Sally, the 911 mascot, and Sparky, the fire division mascot.

“He’s going to join them and help promote the BRFA in all its upcoming events. And we’re really excited to see Terry Traumasaurus come in,” said Ken Hesson of Bonnyville EMS.

The debut of Terry coincides with EMS Week, which begins on Monday. Usually, an open house would happen at the Ambulance Hall, but with COVID restrictions persisting in their building, Terry and the gang will be visiting kids at the schools.

“We’re going to be taking the whole family out to the schools and doing some promotion out with the mascots and we’ll also be having a coloring contest. So if any of the kids are out there, we’re going to have some prizes and we’ll have the details coming up on the Facebook page and the website. You can look in the next in the coming days at www.brfa.ca,” said Hesson.
