Vermilion Fire & Rescue Society respond to single-vehicle roll-over on Highway #41
A single-vehicle roll-over on Highway #41 yesterday has sent one person to the hospital.
Last night, at 7:21 p.m. on April 19, tones dropped to Vermilion Fire & Rescue Society for a report of a single-vehicle roll-over on Highway #41 south past Highway #16.
Vermilion RCMP and EMS were also dispatched.
First arriving firefighters found a vehicle that had skidded off the roadway and flipped. one person was trapped inside.
“Crews extricated the person successfully and they were treated on-scene by EMS for minor injuries before being transported to the hospital,” County Fire Chief Kirk Huges said. “Thankfully, with the poor weather conditions in the last 24 hours, this was the only reported motor vehicle incident on our roadways.”
Roads were slippery at the time of the accident.
