The Bonnyville Friendship Centre is expanding

The Bonnyville Friendship Centre is proud to announce the commencement of construction of their new building expansion.

The official announcement will be made and celebrated at a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m., at the Bonnyville Friendship Centre.

“We would not be achieving this momentous goal without the multimillion-dollar grant from the Federal Government and the UPIP,” Megan Kwiatkowski, Health and Social Program Facilitator at the centre said. “This achievement would not have been granted if it had not been for the efforts of our CIC Janet Gobert and her success in grant writing.”

The centre is a valuable organization in the Town of Bonnyville which always gets support from a community that cares.

“We are also thankful for the support from Our Board and all our staff as well as all our sponsors who have worked to make this dream come true,” Kwiatkowski said. “It is also with great appreciation that we want to thank all our community partners for their support, and we hope that the community support will only grow with the expansion of our building. We look forward to sharing our plans for the upcoming building with the entire community.”
