Healthier Communities Golf Tournament still accepting registrations

The Healthier Communities Golf Tournament is just around the corner and the goal of raising funds to support the development of healthcare services and training opportunities in the Lac La Biche region is growing more important.

Last year, the community came together to raise $56,058 through the event that went towards local health initiatives.

On Friday, July 8, golfers will hit the green at the Lac La Biche Golf & Country Club for a great cause.

There is still time to register.

Registration includes:

• 18 holes of golf;
• A boxed breakfast;
• A dinner;
• A welcome gift; and
• A $250,000 Shoot Out.

The proceeds from the 2022 Healthier Communities Golf Tournament will be given to the Health Foundation and Portage College for the future development of healthcare services and training opportunities in the region. There are also a variety of sponsorship opportunities for you to get involved with as well. There will also be a silent auction and donations are welcome as well as sponsorship dollars.

There is also the Portage College Ball Drop which will be happening again in 2022.
