Evening accident on Main Street in Bonnyville slows traffic
An evening accident on Main Street in Bonnyville slowed traffic for a short period of time today.
On February 10, Station 5 Bonnyville responded at 2:55 p.m. to 50 Ave and 47 Street for a two vehicle MVC. The Bonnyville RCMP also responded.
“On arrival, it was found that one of the vehicles had already left the scene,” Dan Heney Regional Fire Chief of the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority told Lakeland Connect.
Both occupants of the remaining vehicle were assessed by EMS but not transported, and the vehicle required a tow.
Roads at the time were slippery and icy as temperatures are dropping in the Lakeland.
