NEAJBHL teams about to wrap up regular season

The final games of the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League regular season begin tomorrow night.

The Vermilion Tigers and Cold Lake Ice are jostling for home ice in their anticipated first round matchup.

Currently, the Tigers have a one point edge in the standings on the Ice, each with two games left. The Ice go on the road to take on Lloyd on Friday night, before hosting the Wainwright Bisons on Saturday night.

Vermilion is in action tonight against the Lloyd Bandits at home, then travel to take on the St. Paul Canadiens on Friday night.

The Canadiens are guaranteed a bye to the second round of the playoffs, as the 1 and 2-seeds will get a first-round bye. Their game against Vermilion is the final one of their regular season.

The Canadiens vs Tigers game begins at 8pm on Friday night from the Clancy Richard Arena.

The Ice vs Bisons game on Saturday kicks off at 7:30pm from Imperial Oil Place.
