Bus cancelations for Lakeland area schools

Due to cold weather, some school divisions are reporting select bus cancelations.

Northern Lights Public School is reporting some bus cancelations, please check with the division’s website for your bus route. Schools remain open and classes will be held.

St. Paul Education Regional Division is reporting some bus cancelations, please check with the division’s website for your bus route. Schools remain open and classes will be held.

Lakeland Catholic School Division and Conseil Scolaire centre-est are not reporting any cancelations.

Cold Weather Continues

There are no weather alerts from Environment Canada on Thursday morning, however temperatures will remain around minus 34 celsius with the wind chill throughout the day. There is a risk of frostbite, with clouds into this evening. Temperatures are expected to drop to minus 36 celsius overnight.

Friday 2-4 cms of snow is expected with temperatures hovering around minus 36 celsius with the wind chill.
