The Bonnyville RCMP has charged a woman from Saddle Lake with Impaired Driving and other offences.

On January 7, at 1:45 a.m., the Bonnyville RCMP received a tip from St. Paul Police Dog Services that a stolen vehicle was coming in their direction.

Staff Sgt. Sarah Parke from the Bonnyville RCMP says, “GPS tracking was available and the members quickly located the vehicle in Kehewin where the driver attempted to run away on foot and threw the vehicle keys.”

The 35-year-old woman from Saddle Lake was arrested for Impaired Driving and Possession of Stolen Property.

“She has been charged with Impaired Driving, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Driving while Prohibited and Resisting Arrest and is set to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on February 22,” Staff Sgt. Parke said.

The Bonnyville RCMP has charged a woman from Saddle Lake with Impaired Driving and other offences.
