Missing: 45-year-old Shawn Michael Prodaniuk

The Barrhead RCMP continue to seek the public’s assistance in locating Shawn Michael Prodaniuk who was reported missing on Dec. 25, 2021, and last seen leaving his residence in Barrhead on Dec. 23, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Police are asking Shawn that, if he is well, to contact his family or nearest police service to advise he is safe. It is not uncommon for Shawn to leave for periods of time; however, this amount of time without contact is out of character and there is a growing concern for his safety.

Additionally, Barrhead RCMP are asking the residents of Barrhead and the outskirts of town to check their property and out buildings should Shawn have sought shelter from the cold.
