Superficial injuries reported in single vehicle roll-over near Tulliby Lake

Marwayne Fire & Rescue, County #9-1, County Peace Officers and the RCMP responded to a single vehicle roll-over near Tulliby Lake during the lunch hour.

“A report of a single vehicle roll-over with injuries and smoke sent Marwayne Fire & Rescue, County #9-1, County Peace Officer (Sgt. Garner) and the RCMP out the door shortly after 12:40 p.m.,” Director of Protective Services, Kirk Hughes told Lakeland Connect.

Shortly after the call came in, Rescue and a County Pumper arrived on-scene and secured the area, Hughes added.

“The patient was assessed and the vehicle stabilized,” Hughes said. “There was no fire and minor superficial injuries reported.”

Marwayne Fire cleared the scene, the RCMP and County Peace Officers remained awaiting a tow truck.

“Roads remain slick in certain spots, drive to the conditions and be aware of drifting snow,” Hughes concluded.
