St. Paul RCMP need help in identifying break and enter suspects wearing hazmat style coveralls

St. Paul RCMP are investigating several break and enters and attempts to break and enter along 50 Avenue in St. Paul.

According to an RCMP news release, “On Dec. 1, at approximately 8:05 a.m. St. Paul RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter to a business located on 50 Avenue and 40 Street in St. Paul.

The investigation has determined that between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. suspects entered onto the property and caused damage while gaining entry into out-buildings and a vehicle situated on the property.

A suspect was observed on video surveillance and is seen wearing white, “Hazmat” style, coveralls.

On Dec. 6,  St. Paul RCMP responded to reports of three attempted break and enters that had occurred over night . These attempts occurred along 50 Avenue between 50 Street and 44 Street at two business and one residence.

A fourth report on Dec. 6, 2021, was a break and enter to a business on 51 Avenue between 50 Street and 49 Street.

Two suspects were observed on video surveillance at approximately 4:30 a.m. gaining entry to a business. The suspects were wearing “hazmat” style coveralls and fled the scene with the cash register containing an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

The St. Paul RCMP attended each scene and the investigations are ongoing with the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services .

The St. Paul RCMP also believe these suspects may be connected to an earlier report on Nov. 30, 2021 at about 11:30 p.m. where a suspect was observed trying door handles on a garage near 42 Street and 48 Avenue. The suspect in that report had been similarly dressed as the two suspects being sought; however, patrols to locate the suspect were unsuccessful.

The St. Paul RCMP are asking the public and local businesses in the area to review security footage for Dec. 6,2021 from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. and Dec. 1, 2021 between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in an effort to identify the suspects.   If you have any information in relation to this incident (or identifying those responsible) please contact St. Paul RCMP at 780-645-8870.
