Town and County of St. Paul holds online community survey to address long-term planning for land

The Town of St. Paul and the County of St. Paul is currently looking to address the long-term planning and development of 588.4 hectares of land located adjacent to the northern portion of the town.

To address this need, the Town and County are commissioning the preparation of an Area Structure Plan (ASP).

The ASP project was started in the summer of 2021 between the Town & the County.

Maureen Miller is the Mayor of the Town of St. Paul.

“The project is in the initial stages of public consultation with affected landowners and stakeholders,” Mayor Miller told Lakeland Connect. “Starting Monday, December 6, there will be a community survey for residents to complete to gather feedback for the plan area.

The deadline to respond to the survey is December 20.

“The project is expected to take up to one year to complete,” Mayor Miller said.
