Water main leak repair now complete in Lac La Biche

The water main leak east of the Green Banks Subdivision along Lakeland Drive has been repaired earlier than anticipated.

All residents east of Green Banks, including Sunset Bay, Churchill Gates, Claude Lake, Lakeview Estates, and any other homes tied into County water services along the way, should have water services restored.

“Normal water pressure should return by about 2:00 p.m.,” Lac La Biche County stated. “Thank you again for your patience and cooperation while we completed this important repair.”

Heads up Lac La Biche residents, there is a water main leak east of the Green Banks Subdivision along Lakeland Drive which will be repaired today.

“To repair the leak, County staff will be shutting off water, December 1, from 9;00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,” Lac La Biche County stated.

All residents east of Green Banks will be affected, including Sunset Bay, Churchill Gates, Claude Lake, Lakeview Estates, and any other homes tied into County water services along the way.

Equipment and crews should not impact traffic.

“Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete this important work,” Lac La Biche County said.
