Two men in the Lakeland Region have been charged for having crystal meth.

On November 12, the Mounties from Bonnyville were dispatched to a residence on the Southwest end of Bonnyville for an unrelated matter and upon arresting a male he was found to have methamphetamine.

Sgt. Sarah Parke is the Detachment Commander for the Bonnyville RCMP.

“The 35-year-old male from Bonnyville is charged with Possession of Crystal Meth and Failing to Comply with his Probation Order,” Sgt. Parke said.

He is set to appear on December 7 in Bonnyville Provincial Court.

This scenario became deja vu for the Bonnyville RCMP, the very next day when members attended the same location for an unrelated matter and arrested a 45-year-old male from Elk Point who also had Methamphetamine in his possession.

“He is charged with Possession of Crystal Meth and three counts of Breaching his Probation,” Sgt. Parke said.

He is set to appear on November 23 in Bonnyville Provincial Court.
