Lac La Biche RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in arson investigation from September

Police in Lac La Biche need your help to solve a arson which occurred back in September.

According to the RCMP, “On Sept. 25, around 1:30 a.m. Lac La Biche RCMP responded to a report of a structure on fire on 102 avenue in Lac La Biche.”

When the Mounties arrived at the house the occupant had already extinguished the flames.

Cst. Cassandra Calverley is a Media Relations Officer for the Lac La Biche RCMP.

“No one was physically injured and the house suffered repairable damage to the outside,” Cst. Calverley said. “The source of the fire was determined to be suspicious. The Lac La Biche RCMP started an investigation, which is still ongoing.”

The Lac La Biche RCMP are asking the public’s assistance for any information in relation to this incident (or identifying those responsible).
