Cold Lake man charged for being Unlawfully in a Dwelling

A 37-year-old man from Cold Lake was charged for being unlawfully in a house recently.

According to police, “On November 5, the Bonnyville RCMP were called to attend a residential complex on the 4800 block of 66 Street on the Southwest end of Bonnyville.”

Sgt. Sarah Parke is the Detachment Commander for the Bonnyville RCMP.

“One of the rooms was supposed to be vacant but it was believed there were squatters inside,” Sgt. Parke said. “Members attended, located and arrested two suspects inside the room.”

One of the males in the room from Cold Lake has been charged with being Unlawfully in a Dwelling or House., Sgt. Parke says.

He will appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on January 25, 2022.
