Bonnyville man arrested with meth and stolen ID

A 34-year-old man from Bonnyville is facing charges which includes Identity Theft .

On October 23, at 7:30 p.m., the Bonnyville RCMP were called to a residence in the 5500 block of 55 Street for an Assault with a Weapon complaint.

“Upon arrival RCMP arrested a male and seized two metal rods used in the assault,” Sgt. Sarah Parke said.  “The male was also found to have Methamphetamine and ID that did not belong to him.”

The 34-year-old male from Bonnyville is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Mischief Under $5000, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Stolen Property and Identity Theft and is scheduled to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on November 16, 2021.

“The male and his victim are known to each other,” Sgt. Parke concluded.
