Electrical fire at CNRL Beartrap plant under investigation

A Tuesday evening electrical fire at the CNRL Beartrap plant is under investigation.
On October 26, Station 5 Bonnyville, Station 7 Fort Kent and Starion 8 Ardmore responded at 6:35 p.m. to an electrical fire in the main building MCC room at the CNRL Beartrap plant.
Dan Heney is the Regional Deputy Chief at the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority.
“Plant operation was affected overnight and the fire is under investigation,” Deputy Chief Heney told Lakeland Connect.
Deputy Chief Heney says there were no injuries in the incident.
