Political forum taking place for City of Cold Lake council election
A political forum has been planned for candidates running in the City of Cold Lake council election.
The forum will be held on Tuesday, October 5, at the Lakeland Inn. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. and the forum will get underway at 7:00 p.m.
Craig Copeland is the Mayor of the City of Cold Lake.
“It’s an opportunity to meet the candidates that have put their name forward to run for council,” Mayor Copeland told Lakeland Connect. “It’s an opportunity to ask a question to the candidates or listen to the answers given by the candidates to questions posed by the general public in the audience or via YouTube.”
Copeland was recently acclaimed for a second term as Mayor in the City of Cold Lake and says during the political forum, “The candidates will have two minutes to introduce themselves and speak about what they believe in or vision for Cold Lake.”
