A motor vehicle accident (MVA) overnight near Highway #897 and 641 has sent one person to the hospital.
In the single-vehicle rollover, one occupant had to be removed from the vehicle by Marwayne Fire.

“Marwayne Firefighters responded to a serious motor vehicle roll-over that required skilled extrication. Crews responded quickly and stabilized both the scene and the patient beforehand over to EMS,” Kirk Hughes Director of Protective Services County of Vermilion River told Lakeland Connect. “STARS was contacted and a landing site created, however, it was decided by EMS to transport via ground ambulance to Lloydminster. Thankfully the patient was transported in stable condition.”
The RCMP is investigating the cause of the accident.
