Town of Bonnyville says phase one of trail system completed

Phase one of the 66 St Trail system is now complete says the Town of Bonnyville

Yesterday, September 21, crews completed the construction and paving of the first phase of the planned 66 St trail system, a new trail built to link existing M.D. of Bonnyville trails to the Town trail system.

“The current phase runs from 66 St eastward to the Leon Paul Bougie Ball Park and West gate of the Rodeo grounds,” the Town of Bonnyville stated. “Phase two when completed will see the remainder of this trail constructed to linkup with the town trail on Gurneyville Rd.”

The Town of Bonnyville would like to remind residents that crews will still be working on tying up lose ends in the coming weeks.

“We will make a post on social media when this portion of the trail is officially opened,” the Town of Bonnyville said.
