To promote agriculture as a career choice among youth, Lac La Biche County’s Agricultural Service Board sponsors an annual bursary for students who are pursuing a field of study related to agriculture or environment.
The scholarship is open to applicants that are ratepayers and residents of Lac La Biche County, or those with parent(s)/guardian(s) that are ratepayers and residents of Lac La Biche County.
Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary agriculture related program of two or more years in length. Proof of enrollment will be required. Please note, only emailed applications will be considered- no fax or mailed documents.
The bursary amount is $500 per semester ($1000 total/year).
The deadline for application submissions is September 30, 2021.
