Cold Lake RCMP on scene at serious motor vehicle collision

In the early morning hours, on Aug. 23, the Cold Lake RCMP responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle collision at Highway 892 and Highway 28.

Traffic is asked to avoid the area until further notice. A suggested detour is via Highway 897 and Range Road 440 and Range Road 42.

RCMP Collision Analyst has been engaged and is attending the scene.

The Cold Lake RCMP investigation is on-going.

Lakeland Connect has learned this is a fatal accident and an update will be provided pending notification of next of kin when available from the RCMP.
