The Council and staff of the Municipal District of Bonnyville wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the families affected by the fatal accident that occurred this morning, within the municipality.
An M.D. employee was killed and another driver critically injured in an accident near the intersection of Secondary Highway 660 and Range Road 455, where the M.D.’s Infrastructure Services Shop is located.
The accident scene is under investigation. Hwy. 660 will remain closed until at least 8:00 p.m. this evening. The names of those involved are not being released at this time.
Operations at Infrastructure Services have been shut down for the day at the M.D., and grief counselling will be made available to staff.
