SPERD says reviews needed for Return to School plan
St. Paul Education Regional Division (SPERD) has released a statement to parents and stakeholders stating that reviews of the province’s Return to School plan are needed before they finalize the division’s plans.
“Having just received the above information ourselves, we are reviewing the documents in order to set direction for the 2021-2022 school year,” stated Superintendent Glen Brodziak in a statement on SPERD’s website.
Meetings will be scheduled with school administrators early this week and fellow superintendents from across the province to review the 2021-2022 School Year Plan.
Brodziak added that he will be “consulting and receiving direction from our Board of Trustees” and that they anticipate more information will be provided by the provincial government over the coming days.
Following these steps, there will be a virtual parent and staff information meeting as soon as possible to provide more details and gather feedback. Parents and stakeholders are asked to follow the division’s social media pages and website for more information.
