It was a quiet weekend for the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority.

Dan Heney is the Regional Deputy Chief for the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority. There was only one call on Friday Regional Deputy Chief Heney says.

“On Friday Station 4 Iron River and Station 6 LaCorey responded at 3:15 p.m. to a Medical Assist,” Regional Deputy Chief Heney told Lakeland Connect.

There were two calls on Saturday, Aug 14.

“Saturday Station 5 Bonnyville responded a5 1:30 p.m. to a grass fire just north of Twp 621 and RR 463,” Regional Deputy Chief Heney said. “Approximately ¾ of an acre burned, but no injuries or significant damage. Station 5 Bonnyville Responded at 9:30 p.m. to an MVC, car vs deer on Hwy 28 and RR 464. The driver was assessed by EMS but not transported.”

On Sunday, Aug 15, there was only one call to the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority.

“Station 7 Fort Kent and Station 8 Ardmore responded at 10:30 p.m. to a Medical Assist,” Regional Deputy Chief Heney told Lakeland Connect.
