The Cold Lake Public Library is inviting you to come and meet B.C. artist Sabine Lecorre-Moore in the Cold Lake Public Library Reading Garden on August 18.

Assistant Director of the Cold Lake Public Library, Tanya Boudreau says Lecorre-Moore will be doing live demos between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Aug 18.
“Everyone is welcome to attend and talk with her,” Boudreau told Lakeland Connect. “There is no cost to attend and this is in partnership with the Painting Alberta project.”
Boudreau says the event is part of the 39th International Contemporary Art Symposium of Baie St. Paul, Quebec.
“She is presenting Painting Alberta, an installation of 360 miniature landscapes, painted on 6″x6″ canvas and based on photographs,” Boudreau said. “Each one represents a snapshot of life in Alberta since the 1880s.”
Boudreau says Lecorre-Moore is painting in front of the public to build a bridge between Eastern and Western Canada.
See you at the Cold Lake Public Library for this great event.
