Snowbirds cancel weekend performance in Cold Lake
The Canadian Snowbirds have canceled their weekend performance over Cold Lake following an unforeseeable operational issue.
In a statement released on the organization’s Facebook page the Snowbirds apologized, “to those who made plans around our demonstration and hope you will enjoy the Aqua days without us.”
Adding, “We are doing our best to rectify the situation as soon as possible.”
Many locals enjoyed the Snowbirds practice performance on Friday afternoon over Kinosoo beach in Cold Lake.
Although you won’t be able to watch the full performance, the CF-18 Demo Team is still scheduled to perform for Aqua Days.
