Starting August 3, the Beaver River Trestle will be closed to all pedestrian traffic and cyclists.

The M.D. of Bonnyville stated on its website that construction is beginning on the paved trail and expansion of the parking lot area.

“The estimated completion timeline is between two and three weeks. Once the project has been completed and the trestle reopened, we will post an update,” the M.D. of Bonnyville said.

ATV/OHV users are urged to use extreme caution when passing equipment and workers.
