City of Cold Lake applying to control noxious weeds

The City of Cold Lake will be applying herbicides to control noxious weeds.

The work will begin on August 2 to August. 9. The city says to look for signs posted in affected areas, and the signs will be posted before, during and after application. Information about the herbicide application will be listed on the back of the signs when the work begins.

“The health and well-being of residents is the City’s top priority,” the City of Cold Lake stated.

The City posted on its webpage that herbicides are carefully chosen and will be applied by certified professionals.

Herbicide application is done in accordance with the Weed Control Act and the City of Cold Lake’s Community Standards Bylaw.
