Overdue boat and campers found safe on Wolf Lake

Early yesterday morning, July 26, the Bonnyville RCMP requested assistance from the Bonnyville Search and Rescue in locating an overdue boat and campers on the far side of Wolf Lake.

The subjects were quickly located and members towed their disabled boat and gear back to the Wolf Lake Campground.

“We would like to remind everyone to always have items with you in case you are stranded overnight and make sure you are participating in activities within the limits of yourself and your equipment,” the Bonnyville Search and Rescue stated.

No injuries were reported and everyone returned safely.
