101 Street remains closed in downtown Lac La Biche after structure fire

The structure fire in downtown Lac La Biche has been extinguished.

Fire crews battled the extreme heat yesterday as the air filled with smoke in downtown Lac La Biche.

“101 Street between Alberta Treasury Branch and Smiley’s remains closed, but Main Street and the southern back alley are now open,” Jihad Moghrabi Manager of Communications for Lac La Biche County said. “However, crews are still working in the area – please use caution. Thank you again for your cooperation.”
