The Bonnyville sign war between two 50 Ave businesses is heating up.
A new sign has appeared at Sonny’s Liquor which reads, “”Sale on now except for Mr. Mikes they pay full price.”
With the May 24 weekend upon us, it appears that Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Causal will not be enjoying cheap shots.
Sonny’s Liquor responded to Lakeland Connect shortly after the sign was posted and said, “Mr. Mikes tried to pull the I know the owner line to get a sweet deal.”
Sonny’s Liquor also says, “That they keep trying to pay in gift cards.” Referring that they’re not sure if Mr. Mikes has anything else he can offer up.
They also posted on their Facebook page, “Shots fired! Let the war continue.”
