Bonnyville RCMP GIS drug investigation issue warrant for wanted male
The Mounties need you help to locate 34-year-old Darryl R Lambert of Bonnyville who is wanted on a warrant.
According to an RCMP news release, “On May 12, the Bonnyville RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS), with assistance from Cold Lake GIS and Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant under the controlled drugs and substances act at a residence in the Town of Bonnyville.”
This was the end result of a targeted drug investigation into drug trafficking the RCMP says which resulted in police seizing six grams of Fentanyl, a .308 calibre rifle, $450 cash and electronics associated to the sale of drugs in the community.
Police say one female was arrested on scene and released without charge and Darryl R Lambert of Bonnyville, is facing charges for:
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Unsafe storage of a firearm
- Failing to comply with a release order condition (x2)
The Bonnyville RCMP have been unable to locate Lambert and have obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Darryl R Lambert (34) is described as:
- 5’9” tall
- 185 lbs
- Brown hair
- Hazel eyes
