Elk Point RCMP investigate abandoned puppies on Frog Lake First Nations

On Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, Elk Point RCMP located three abandoned puppies along Highway 897 in Frog Lake First Nations.

The animals appear to have been abandoned along a rural stretch of Highway 897 with no houses nearby. Human tracks were located where the puppies were found.

Police feared for the well-being and the safety of the animals and were brought in to foster care.
