Two St. Paul men were charged with break and enter after an alarm call at the Fields store located at 50th Ave and 48 St in St. Paul.

According to RCMP, the call came in just before 1 a.m. on Dec. 26 and one suspect was caught leaving the building and arrested. A search of the store with the police dog did not locate anyone else, but a second person was identified from video surveillance and arrested later that day.

Police say the pair got in to the store by cutting a hold in the back exterior wall.

41-year old Lawrence Desjarlais and 27-year old David Letourneau-Janveux were both charged with break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime. Both were released and ordered to appear in St. Paul provincial court on Feb. 25.
