COVID cases up to 67 in Saddle Lake, recoveries rising in Bonnyville, Cold Lake

There are now 67 active cases of COVID-19 in Saddle Lake on Tuesday, with an update expected sometime later this evening.

This is an increase of ten new cases and one resident is in hospital.

This accounts for all St. Paul area COVID cases on AHS’s virus data map, which updated on Tuesday to show 67 cases in St. Paul’s “Local Geographic Area.”

In Cold Lake and Bonnyville recoveries on the rise for the moment.

There are just three active cases in the Cold Lake area with none remaining active in Cold Lake First Nations.

Bonnyville’s infections are slightly down at 19 active cases, a drop of two from Monday, with seven active in Kehewin in their last report Sunday night.

The Lac La Biche area has eight active cases, while Beaver Lake First Nation has one active infection and one recovery.

Four cases are active in the Smoky Lake area as of Thursday, three in the Two Hills area, and two in the Frog Lake area.

Five cases are active in the Vermilion River County area.

Over 8000 active cases in Alberta

On Tuesday, 713 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Alberta.

There are 207 in hospital and 43 of those are in intensive care.
