Tanner Boser’s biggest test in the UFC is this Saturday
Tanner Boser returns to the octagon on Saturday to face the most decorated opponent so far in his pro fighting career.
“Bulldozer” Boser will be for a test against MMA veteran and former UFC heavyweight Andrei Arlovski this Saturday in Las Vegas.
The Bonnyville heavyweight is looking for to extend his win streak to three (3-1) heading into the bout and is the favourite against the 41-year-old Belrusian.
Coming off of knockout victories against Philipe Lins and Raphael Pessoa this summer, Boser was briefly ranked in the Top 15 of UFC heavyweights in September, but has since fallen off the list.
This will be the fifth fight for the “Bulldozer” in just over a calendar year since making his UFC debut on October 18, 2019 against Daniel Spitz–winning a unanimous decision.
Andrei Arlovski held the interim and undisputed heavyweight championship belt for 551 days from 2005 to 2006.
He is 2-2-0-1 in his last five fights and also defeated Lins earlier this year.
UFC Fight Night begins on Saturday night at 8:00pm on TSN. Boser’s fight will be the second last of the evening right before the main event of light heavyweights Thiago Santos and Glover Teixeira.
