St. Paul Fire Department are asking if residents have information about a housefire on Friday night.

Fire crews responded at 8:30pm to the 5100 Block on 49 Avenue and saw a single-family dwelling on fire.

No one was home at the time.

“Crews made entry and quickly extinguished the fire. Firefighters continued to search the structure where it was confirmed no occupants were home at the time,” said Trevor Kotowich, fire chief, in a release.
