Two people facing attempted murder charges after shooting on Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement
Two people are facing attempted murder charges after a shooting on Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement earlier this month.
On Sept. 7, Boyle RCMP responded to a report of a shooting where police noticed significant damages to the residence.
The adult male victim was taken to hospital with a serious life-threatening injury.
After a search warrant, RCMP seized firearms, ammunition as well as forensic evidence.
Two suspects were arrested and charged with multiple offences regarding the shooting.
Guy Edward Delorme (30) of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement was charged with:
- Attempted murder
- Assault with a weapon
- Disguise with intent
- Unauthorized possession of firearm
- Theft of motor vehicle
Brendan Christopher Dion (30) of Edmonton was charged with:
- Attempted murder
- Unauthorized possession
- Disguise with intent
- Breach of a release order
Both the accused were remanded into custody after a judicial hearing and are set to appear in Boyle Provincial Court via CCTV earlier Tuesday.
