Bonnyville GIS make drug and vehicle seizure, arrest four

On Saturday, September 12, 2020, the Bonnyville General Investigation Section (GIS), with the assistance of Bonnyville Detachment Members, Cold Lake Police Dog Services, and the Lakeland Region Crime Reduction Unit, executed two simultaneous search warrants in relation to a months-long CDSA Trafficking Investigation.

One search warrant was executed at the residence located within the town of Bonnyville, and the other at a rural property near LaCorey, Alberta.

Four individuals were taken into custody and the following items were seized:

  • 775 Grams of Methamphetamine: Street Value $62,000
  • 90 Grams of Heroin: Street Value $18,000
  • 50 Grams of Cocaine: Street Value $5000
  • 191 tabs of LSD: Street Value $2800

Offence related property that was also seized:

  • $10,405 in Canadian Currency
  • 7 vehicles including a Mercedes C-300
  • Chevrolet Yukon
  • Pontiac G6
  • four high-performance street motorcycles.

Cory Randall Fletcher, 42, Gage Randall Fletcher, 21, Naomi Dawn Kells, 29, and Jennifer Kathleen Slipchuk, 34, all of Bonnyville are charged with four Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

Additionally, Cory Fletcher is charged with three counts of Failing to Comply with a Release order, and Driving while Prohibited.

Cory Fletcher remains in custody pending his next court appearance on Tuesday, September 15 in Bonnyville.

Gage Fletcher, Naomi Kells, and Jennifer Slipchuk were all released by a Justice of the Peace, with no financial obligations to appear, in Bonnyville Provincial Court on Tuesday, October 20.
