Three active COVID-19 cases in County of St. Paul, five in Smoky Lake County

There are now three active cases of COVID-19 in the County of St. Paul as of Thursday.

This is an increase of one infection as shown on the Alberta Government’s virus data map.

In Smoky Lake County, there are now five active cases of the virus. Yesterday, AHS announced an infection linked to H.A. Kostash School in Smoky Lake.

Saddle Lake is also under lockdown until Sept. 21 with non-essential services open only due to an active case in the community.

Otherwise, case numbers remain the same in the Lakeland area.

There is one active case within the M.D. of Bonnyville, Cold Lake, and County of Vermilion River.

Two active infections have been identified in the County of Two Hills.

On Thursday, 113 new cases were reported in Alberta.
