Dates set for Fall 2021 in Sansom/Cardinal murder trial

The trial dates for the Glendon men co-accused of second-degree murder in the deaths of Jacob Sansom and Morris Cardinal have been set for Fall 2021.

Anthony and Roger Bilodeau’s jury trial will begin October 18, 2021 and November 12, 2021 at St. Paul Court of Queen’s Bench.

The Crown sought out a direct indictment that was spoken to on Monday in St. Paul.

This direct indictment moved proceedings directly to trial.

It is alleged that the incident happened at approximately 9:30 p.m., on Friday, March 27 two vehicles came to a stop on a rural road north of Glendon, RCMP said.

RCMP received a report from a citizen the next morning at 4:00 a.m.

An autopsy report conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on March 31 determined the deaths to be homicides.

Both Anthony and Roger Bilodeau have been denied bail.
