Edmonton man caught speeding 90km/h over limit near Vermilion
A 33-year-old Edmonton driver will appear in Vermilion Provincial Court after travelling almost 90 KM/H over the speed limit.
Police said they received a complaint on Saturday of a vehicle excessively speeding on Highway 16.
Office responded to the area and pulled over the 33-year-old driver for travelling 198 KM/HR in a posted 110 KM/HR zone.
The driver was issued a Summons under the Traffic Safety Act to appear in court on November 2nd.
The Alberta RCMP said they will continue to work with Alberta Sheriffs, other law enforcement and community partners to ensure Albertans make the right driving decisions.
