Bold Center’s activity guide now up
As more services continue to open up at the Bold Center, they have now released their new Community Activity Guide for the upcoming year, which lets residents know what the recreation center has to offer.
Lac La Biche residents can now safely go to the Bold Center and attend the wide range of programs and classes from swimming lessons to visual arts.
The County wanted to get the programs up and running as soon as possible to help give locals a way to stay active during the pandemic.
“With the release of the new Community Activity Guide, we’re pleased that we’re able to provide our residents with a variety of programs and services to keep everyone active and healthy, which is especially important during the pandemic,” said Jihad Moghrabi, the Manager of Communications for Lac La Biche County.
“We’ve been following Alberta Health Services’ guidelines, and adapting all our programming to comply.”
Residents can register for the courses through the Bold Center’s website.
Bold Center Sports Fields
Plans for the Bold Center Sports Fields are well underway.
The Bold Center announced that their turf field is almost complete, and their next focus will be the track.
During the last council meeting, plans for the sports fields were approved, which include three ball diamonds and a natural irrigated sports field.
In total, the tracks will cost around $6.4 million dollars and are expected to be complete next spring.
